Mijo City is a fictional city based on the theme of a shifting 'Taisho Era' Japan. The city was built in the Edo period and then demolished to recreate the city's transition to modernity. It is characterised by a romantic cityscape where brick Western-style architecture and traditional tiled-roof buildings coexist.
